New York, the big apple during the holiday season.
What haven't been said about this city at this time of the year, Christmas and the New Year. The city at this time is more vibrant, busy, colourful and crowded than ever.
From the swarms of people on Main Avenue to the huge manifestation of the construction workers, the saxophone players in the street corners, the Christmas trees that decorate the city, the millions of tourists who replaced the New Yorkers who fled the crowds, and flew in to absorb some heat in Miami.

In the streets, thick smoke is constantly scattered from the subway cracks, creating one of the city's biggest clichés, like an opening scene from a classic 20’s movie.
For years I dreamed of this moment, standing on Fifth Avenue and watching this wonder happen. That I will be at the heart of the World Consumer Culture Center, the land of brands and plastic in the busiest time of the year.
And just like that kid who's waiting to open the presents under the christmas tree without being able to put off the satisfaction anymore, I look at the diverse and fascinating people who paint this city, and open my presents, which for me are the pictures that will go with me for the rest of my life.
